Cold winter season usually puts some pressure on your diesel car or truck.
When temperature gets below + 5 °C it causes an increase in viscosity and waxing of the diesel fuel,
which, in its turn, causes following problems:
1. DIESEL CARS AND TRUCKS ARE MUCH HARDER TO START AT TEMPERATURES BELOW 10-15 °C
Increased fuel viscosity puts a lot of pressure on the fuel system. More time is needed for heating up
and fuel dewaxing.
2. INCREASED FUEL CONSUMPTION
Due to the deterioration of the fuel injection quality, fuel does not completely burn in the engine
cylinders, which causes power to drop and fuel consumption to increase.
3. IN SOME CASES FUEL CANNOT PASS THROUGH THE FUEL LINE, ESPECIALLY THROUGH FILTERS
As a result, there are interruptions in the delivery of fuel to the engine.
