ELAN is a universal heater designed for fuel lines, fuel filters (including those with a plastic case), any other car pipes, distribution units, valves, etc.
Comes as a flexible silicone tape of fixed sizes with hermetic leads.
ELAN can be used as a universal heater for components and parts that are difficult to heat due to their size or complex shape.
ELAN is a perfect solution when it comes to heating plastic elements. Traditional heaters usually are not acceptable because there is a big chance of overheating and melting of plastic. A typical example is a fuel filter in a plastic case, on which the bandage heater cannot be installed. ELAN flexible heaters have the correct electrical power and surface temperature to install them safely on plastic parts.
INSTALLATION
The way of installation depends on the shape of the surface you want to heat. ELAN is tightly wound or overlaid on the surface, fixed with clamps or plastic ties and then connected to the vehicle’s on-board network according to the scheme (see user manual).
OPERATION
The heater is turned on and off manually with a switch located in the driver's cabin.
OTHER FEATURES
ELAN is waterproofed, resistant to various aggressive environments and retains its elasticity up to -60 °C.
Average service life - 10 years or 3000 hours of operation.
